Chattanooga-(WDEF) Last season, the Mocs Terrell Robinson played quarterback and receiver, and even a little running back. And this spring, the former South Pittsburg star worked on yet another position, punt returner.

Terrell Robinson has the gift for making plays, so why not let him try and make plays as a punt returner. Said head coach Russ Huesman,"And I don't know if for sure we are going to do that. You never like your quarterback doing things like that. I think it's good for him to showcase everything he can possibly do. And if he can catch them, he'll be a factor back there." Said Robinson,"If I feel comfortable out there catching punts, I will return punts. Work on it this summer. If I'm able to catch the punts, and get up field, then most definitely, I would love to return punts."

Last season, Robinson led UTC in receiving catching five touchdown passes. He was third in rushing, scoring three rushing touchdowns. And he was second in passing, throwing two touchdown passes. Said Robinson,"Anytime you can play multiple positions in college football, it's a blessing. I take it as a privilege and an honor just to be able to play multiple positions and go out there and help the team any way I can."

Reporter-"How many different position meetings does he go to?" Said Huesman,"He just goes with the quarterbacks."

Robinson did not return punts in the spring game on Saturday, but he did cut loose on a 70-yard touchdown run from his quarterback position. Said Huesman,"I think to be great, you have to craft a specific skill set. We don't give him that opportunity. He just can't have that opportunity. He has to play quarterback. He has to play wide-out. Last year, we put him at a lot of different spots to try to find ways to get him the ball. It makes it tough on him, but I thought he responded well last year."
