NW Whitfield Falls in Game One to Stephens Co

Tunnel Hill-(WDEF) The Northwest Whitfield baseball team lost game one of their second round playoff game against Stephens County 7-1. The Bruins only run of the game came in the bottom of the first. Edwin Hernandez hit one deep down the right field line that landed fair, scoring Brady Middleton. The Indians took the lead for good in the fourth inning by scoring twice. Stephens Co also won game two 16-14 to bring an end to the Bruins season.
