Chattanooga-(WDEF) Scott Schebler etched his name in the Lookouts record books Tuesday night.
He hit three homeruns in Chattanooga's win over Jacksonville, becoming just the fifth Lookout to ever pull off the homerun hat trick.
He was also the first to do it at AT&T Field.
And the cool part was his third homerun.
Schebler had an inside-the-park homer.
Schebler drove in all four Lookouts runs in their 4-0 win.
Their tenth straight victory.
Schebler was the first Lookout to homer three times in a game since 1989.
Said Schebler,"It's really cool. It's the first time I've ever done it. To do it kind of in the fashion that I did. I got a little luck there in the end, but I'll take it however I can get it."
Reporter-"Was there just any extra confidence last night to kick start the whole ordeal?"
"Yeah. Just coming home. Coming home. I have a better routine here I guess than I do on the road. On the road I struggle a little more. Just routine base. I have a really good one here. I like it. I seem to hit it a little better here."
Reporter-"Do you think you could hit three inside-the-park homeruns in a game?"
"Uh no. I wouldn't be able to do it. No shot." (laughs)
