Tennessee All Stars Win Baseball and Softball Games Over Georgia

The Tennessee baseball all stars beat their counterparts from Georgia 5-4 on Wednesday night at Ridgeland High School. Georgia took a 1-0 lead in the second on an RBI single from LFO's Cole Ellis. But Tennessee bounced back with four runs in the third. With the bases loaded, East Hamilton's Nic Auger was hit by a pitch. That scored Spencer Mossburg of Silverdale to tie the game. Then Dominique Dawson of Central reached on an error, which scored two more runs. Tanner Buchanan of McCallie finished up the scoring in the inning with an RBI single.

In softball all stars action, Tennessee swept Georgia 4-2 and 2-0. Katy Richardson of GPS drove in the first run of game two with an RBI basehit to score Sidney Hooper of Walker Valley.
