KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee's 2013-14 schedule features at least seven games against NCAA tournament teams from last year but doesn't include its traditional home game with Kentucky.
Now that the Southeastern Conference has ended divisional play, Tennessee doesn't face all its old Eastern Division rivals twice each year anymore. This is the first time since 1952-53 that Tennessee won't get Kentucky at home and the first time since 1962-63 it won't play at Georgia.
The SEC teams Tennessee faces twice are Auburn, Florida, Missouri, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
Tennessee's non-conference schedule features road games with Xavier and Wichita State and home games with North Carolina State and Virginia. The Xavier game on Nov. 12 is the season opener. Tennessee also plays in the Battle 4 Atlantis on Nov. 28-30 in the Bahamas.
