Vols Butch Jones Expects Stronger Team and Stronger Leadership For Spring Practice

Spring practice gets underway in a couple of weeks at Tennessee.
Head coach Butch Jones gave fans a little insight into next year's team on Wednesday.

He was the guest speaker at the Big Orange Tip-Off club in Knoxville.

Tennessee has plenty of question marks heading into spring.

But Coach Jones says the team will be stronger, plus they get back veteran linebacker Curt Maggitt, who missed all of last season with a knee injury.
Said Jones, "Even with a veteran group, we had zero individuals in our football program that could squat over 600 pounds. In a one year's time, we have nine. I think the biggest individual that has made the biggest strides is Curt Maggitt. Hands down, he is the heart and soul of our football team. He's our leader."
