KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee players are talking to the media again after improving their practice effort.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones canceled Monday's scheduled player interviews after a sluggish practice and said the Volunteers would have to "earn the right to talk to the media." Jones allowed players to speak with reporters again Tuesday after Tennessee practiced in pads for the first time.
Jones said he could sense a difference in his players as early as a 7:30 a.m. team meeting.  Freshman cornerback Emmanuel Moseley said that "we told each other as a team we've got to do better to talk to the media, so that's what we did."
The Vols are relying on a young roster this year as they attempt to end a string of four straight losing seasons.
