Vols athletic director Dave Hart told the Knoxville News Sentinel that U-T and Memphis have agreed in principle to a new four year home-and-home series in basketball. It likely won't start until the 2014-2015 season. When Memphis beat the Vols 85-80 in Knoxville on January 4th, it was thought to be the last game in the series for awhile. Memphis head coach Josh Pastner had stated he didn't want to play Tennessee anymore. But now the rivalry is scheduled to return, and the two schools are discussing the football series as well.
