Vonn Bell Receives Honorary Under Armour Jersey
Big ceremony at Ridgeland High School on Friday afternoon for the Panthers Vonn Bell. He received his game jersey for the Under Armour All-American game. Bell will play in the post-season All-Star game on January 4th in St. Petersburg, Florida.
ESPN ranks Bell as the nation's fifth best safety. He had several All-Star game offers, but he couldn't pass up the Under Armour game.
Said Bell,"You get a little bit more gear. You don't have to practice twice a day. You get to go have fun at Disney World. Nothing like Florida in January." Added head coach Mark Mariakis,"A feather in the cap for everybody here at Ridgeland. The community. The school. The Football program. Everybody involved. It's a team effort. He's giving credit to everybody. He's a humble kid."
