Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Blake Griffin poured in a game-high 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 106-94 preseason win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.

Chris Paul added a double-double with 10 points and 12 assists and Caron Butler chipped in 16 points in the Clippers' final tuneup for the regular season. They open up regular-season play with the Memphis Grizzlies on Oct. 31.

Corey Brewer led the Nuggets with 15 points off the bench and JaVale McGee had 13 points and eight rebounds for Denver, who will wrap up the preseason with the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

Andre Iguodala scored 11 points and also had seven assists and four rebounds for the Nuggets, while Kosta Koufos notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards in the setback.

The Clippers went up by 17 points in the second quarter, but were outscored 22-11 over the final seven minutes of the frame to have their lead cut to 61-55 at the break.

Los Angeles built a 93-75 lead in the third and cruised to an easy victory in the fourth, despite being outscored 19-13 over the final 12 minutes.
