Not a lot of holiday cheer around Titans headquarters following their embarrassing 55-7 loss to Green Bay on Sunday. It left Tennessee with a 5-10 record.
Titans owner Bud Adams was so disappointed in the game, he turned it off, saying he couldn't watch that mess. Adams was also upset following the Titans 51-20 loss to Chicago in November. Titans head coach Mike Munchak might not want to bring up those games in his year-end meeting with Adams. Said Munchak,"I think in that meeting for me, I'll tell him exactly what my plan is. What my thinking is. And then how we are going to get past 6-10. He gets to make the decision if he likes that plan or he wants a different plan. It's hard to sit here and say you feel good when you have won five games, and you are not happy with where you are at right now. Like I said, I've been part of teams that won three games or won four games, and we built something. It's not going to happen in one year. We've had one off season here since I've been head coach, so we haven't had a lot of time with the players. There are a lot of things that are factors in this whole thing. We have a short period of time to fix it, but I feel very confident that we will."
