NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Titans receiver Kenny Britt knows that 2013 is crucial season for his career, and that's why he's worked himself into the best shape of his NFL career.
Britt is going into the final year of his rookie contract after being a first-round draft selection in 2009 needing to prove he can stay healthy and out of trouble.
The receiver had a career-high 42 catches last year after three knee surgeries, disappointing for someone who had 17 receptions for 289 yards and three touchdowns in 2011 before tearing his right ACL in the third game.
Britt says he's going to be the receiver he was two years ago and probably even better because he's focused more on football than ever before. Britt says he's excited to see what he can do.
