Hey there Amy-O-Meter readers!
When it comes to procrastination, I'm a "6" on the Amy-O-Meter... Maybe....
I'll get back to you on that sometime later. :)
So when we ran a story about Procrastinators during Prime News at 7:00pm on Tuesday, I felt a little better. It made me think that even though I just mailed off the last (I think) of my Christmas cards, late on the afternoon of December 20th... I'm not alone.
Here's the story:
"It seems there is more procrastination going on at the stores this holiday season.
In fact we are the furthest behind we've ever been since they started tracking shopping habits six years ago.
Three fourths of us still had some shopping to do going into this week.
So why do we do it?
According to surveys... Some of us are waiting for last minute deals.. Some of us are waiting for more money and some of us just keep buying for ourselves.
But the experts say the excuses don't matter.
20% will wait to the last minute.. No matter what."
I don't think I fall into that 20% that waits no matter what. But I do wait for the last minute deals and I wait for more money. For me, it seems the biggest reason I'm just now debating whether or not to hit the stores either tonight or tomorrow night is that December 20th just came out of nowhere!
Wasn't Halloween only like a week ago?
