The sales tax holiday kicks off today in Tennessee.  Now through Sunday night, you *wont* be charged sales tax on clothing items $100 or less, school supplies under $100, and computers priced under $1,500.

If shopping online, use eBates for additional cash back.  Many stores have beefed up their percentage offerings.  For example, you can get 6% cash back at JC Penney, 7% at Old Navy, 6% at Kohls, and even 4% at Amazon!

Stores like JC Penney, Kohls, Carters, and Old Navy all have printable and online coupons to stack up the savings.  For example, use code SAVEMORE at JCPenney to save $10 off a $50 purchase online or $30 off a $100 purchase online.  You can print out an in store coupon, but its only good for $10 off $25.  Online codes can be found on each store's "page" on eBates.

Many stores have extended hours this weekend to accommodate early and late shoppers.  Hamilton Place Mall opens at 9am Friday and Saturday and 11am on Sunday.  Click here for a list of deals at Hamilton Place area stores.

Georgia's tax holiday also takes place today and tomorrow.

Alabama's tax holiday runs through Sunday.
