It was the battle of the bells Friday at Hamilton Place Mall.
The WDEF News12 This Morning crew faced off in a fund-raising grudge match.
Joe Legge and Dreanne Newton teamed up against Chip Chapman and Luther to see who could raise the most money for the Salvation Army's red kettle drive.
Chip and Luther took bell-ringing bragging rights today...
But the thousands of people helped by the Salvation Army are today's biggest winners.
Kimberly George with the Salvation Army explained, "We have three days left. You're going to hear those bells and see the kettles Friday, Saturday and Monday. And then that's it. We'll be gone until next year. So please give and give generously like our Secret Santa has instructed us. Our goal is $400,000 and right now we're just shy of $375,000."
Our Live Eye 12 Network was at the Walgreens on Broad Street.
That's just one spot where you'll find a Salvation Army red kettle to help them reach their goal.
