For most of our Archive stories, we look for historical moments or tie-ins to current news.
But this one is different.
It's about young women in 1987 trying out for a shot at the movies. Talent scouts for "Stardancer" were in town looking for dancers and models. I don't know if anyone here won. I don't know if they ever made the picture. But I do know there was some great hair on display. Really, big and glamorous hair.
So this one's really all about the hair (& Makeup).
