Do you remember the June Jam?
Each summer, the group Alabama performed their own homecoming festival in Fort Payne.
They brought top country, pop and rock acts to our area for a day of jamming.
Money raised from the Jam came back to the community at Christmas time.
The group would return to Fort Payne, with Santa in tow, to make sure all the kids would get some kind of Christmas each year.
And kids from all over the country would join in.
Here is a look back at the 1986 Alabama Christmas Party in Fort Payne.
   Cater Lee is our reporter.
