The latest census estimates show that Chattanooga continues to grow.

Since 2000, the city has turned around a history of stagnant and declining population and now shows steady gains.

In fact Mayor Littlefield predicts the city will pass Knoxville in the next decade.

Tobacco-Friendly North Carolina Bans Public Smoking

     The most tobacco-friendly state in the country is finally banning smoking in public places.
     North Carolina's Governor on Tuesday signed the bill into law.
     It bans smoking in bars and restaurants.
