     Four and a half years after a tragic boating accident, a local young man is named a CNN Hero.
     We've introduced you to double amputee Jordan Thomas in the past.
     He started a foundation raising more than $400,000 for kids' prosthetics, and now he's being honored for that hard work.

     We can now tell you who the victims were in Thursday night's double tragedy on McCallie avenue.
     It happened on the McCallie Viaduct.
     Witnesses say a Cartersville, Georgia man stepped out in front of traffic.. And couldn't get back to the curb in time.

Not many events are actually growing in a bad economy.

But this weekend's head of the hooch is the exception.

It's bringing a record number of people to town.

And that's a big win for the city.

55 million vehicles pass through the Chattanooga-Ooltewah area by way of the Interstate, every year.  That's a lot of traffic trying to maneuver an area that's been under construction for years.  But, the project appears on track to finish sooner than anyone anticipated.

    Chattanooga police are dealing with four different crime scenes, investigating the city's 67th shooting this year. It started with a fight in a local park. "Somewhere during the fight, one of the involved parties pulled out a gun and shot the victim. He was shot once in the chest and as a result of that, dies from his injuries." says Chattanooga police Sargeant Jerri Weary.
