Secrets Of Chattanooga, Tennessee Valley Gas Prices

Two-months ago, we posted a record high price for gas in Chattanooga at nearly $4.00 a gallon.  The average price is now less than half that amount.  Still, you can find $0.30 to $0.40 price discrepancies across the region.  What's the secret?

North Alabama Wants Some Mountains on Their New License Plates

Not everyone is happy with the new license plate you'll see on Alabama cars next year.

The state is retiring the old "stars Fell on Alabama" plate.

The new one features the slogan "sweet Home Alabama.

Guntersville Residents Complain About TVA's New Aquatic Weed Policy

Residents along Lake Guntersville are NOT happy with T-V-A's decision to quit cutting aquatic weeds.

As we told you last week, T-V-A decided to only clear weeds from public beaches and boat ramps on Guntersville and Nickajack lakes... Not private property.

TVA Cutting Back Aquatic Weed Program

T-V-A officials say they will stop cutting aquatic weeds for private residents on Nickajack and Guntersville lakes.

They made the decision to save money.

In the past, T-V-A crews have used herbicides and cutters to clear weeds from lakefront property.
