Secrets Of Chattanooga, Tennessee Valley Gas Prices

Two-months ago, we posted a record high price for gas in Chattanooga at nearly $4.00 a gallon.  The average price is now less than half that amount.  Still, you can find $0.30 to $0.40 price discrepancies across the region.  What's the secret?

Court Strikes Down Ocoee Rafting Tax in Polk County

Polk county is going to have to find another way to raise money.

The Tennessee Court of Appeals has struck down its rafting tax.

The county has taxed rafting tickets since 19-81.

But now the court says they will have to give customers a year to claim refunds.

Tennessee Republicans Make History, Take Majority Control Of House & Senate

It's looking pretty good if you're a Republican or a history buff, and not so good if you're a Democrat.  Voting trends show Republicans will likely gain control of both the Tennessee House and Senate for the first time since Reconstruction.
