I finished X-mas shopping about a week ago. I do not have any credit card debt for the gifts I bought this year. I slept like a baby Friday morning.

A little pre planning and avoid the mall area, we had a great morning shopping in Red Bank, Radio Shack, Ace Hardware & K-Mart were busy but we got all of the early bird specials without waiting for in line for under 5 min. Me and my Wife are very pleased with our Friday shopping, and please try to buy American Made Gifts when possable!, we need to send a message to company's and keep our jobs in the USA, Merry Christmas.

Amazing enough at our Walmart in Lafayette GA everyone was nice!. People at front would hand something back to people that asked for it! I watched 2 young men help 5 people load trampolines into buggies. They WERE NOT employees!

I do my shopping on line thru out the year - at Christmas I give dine out cards for office party etc.
Send grown kids money - Some people love the rush of Christmas - too commercial for me and no parking at local stores during this time.

I was a little frustrated
I was a little frustrated with Best Buy and Circuit City for allowing the "camped out" people to get first pick on things. You know, I think it is only right that there be a time frame set for people to begin standing in line for things. Everyone wants a great deal, but it isn't right that people lose out because they didn't start camping out 48 hours before the sale begins. Good grief! Best Buy even had "porta potties" right in front of their store! Any other time this would be considered loitering, but the stores are so concerned about their profits that they will allow this nonsense. I love shopping on "black Friday", but that just really took a lot of the fun out of it.
