(WDEF) The Chattanooga Football Club is in Greensboro North Carolina Tuesday night.
The team competed in the U-S open cup for only the second time.
They lost on penalty kicks to the "Carolina Dynamo."
The game went into extra time with the Chattanooga Football Club losing, 5-4.
Paul Rustand is a Chattanooga FC Board Member.  He said, "The fans are leaving at all different hours, I think there's a fan heading to Knoxville tonight, getting on a small aeroplane, to be flown into Greensboro and then he will ride back with the team on the bus, there's all different layers of dedication".
The team's next home game is May 25th at Finley Stadium against the Mississippi Storm.
The team now looks to focus on retaining their league title from last season and building on its record attendances.
