150th Civil War Anniversary Programs

  Programs honoring the 150th anniversary of the Civil War kick off this Saturday. Events will be held at the visitor's center throughout the day.

        From cannons to cavalry demonstrations, there is something for visitors of all ages. Parking will be located at North McDonald Field.

        Kim Coons, Chief of interpretation and education says, "Come out to this place! We've been doing tremendous work for years and the 150th anniversary really gives us a chance to showcase all that we've done and we're really proud of all the work we've done and we really want people to come out and see what a great place they live near"
