Alleged flirting leads to stabbing in Red Bank

RED BANK, Tennessee(WDEF) - Red Bank police are investigating a domestic dispute that turned violent.

It happened just after 5:30 Wednesday morning on the 3700 block of Lamar Avenue.

According to police, Steven Conner, 24 and his girlfriend got into an argument after the girlfriend was accused of allegedly flirting with another guy who was inside the home. The Conner reportedly got into a fight with the other guy and pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

The victim was driven to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Arrangements have been made to allow Conner to turn himself in to Red Bank authorities but police say he is now on the run.

If caught, Conner will face an aggravated assault charge.
