BMW of Chattanooga held a benefit for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for pediatric cancer Monday morning.
BMW will auction one of its limited edition cars to the highest bidder. A percentage of the Valencia Orange, 1 Series M Coupe, will go towards the foundation. Their mission is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize each child's quality of life. Amy Jo Osborn, President of Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer said, "Our three main focuses are diversionary therapy that we do across the country. We have a psycho-oncology division here locally called Hatch's House of Hope, and third is our healthy lifestyle program that we go into the school systems and educate the children K through fifth grade on preventative cancer."
The Foundation provides services to children with cancer, as well as their families, in association with Pediatric Oncology centers and through the Foundation's cancer care center. For more information on the foundation visit their website
