CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF) - Some Boyd Buchanan students went on the race of a lifetime, without ever leaving the campus.
They took part in the 17th Annual Physics Boat Day.
The Physics students raced 10 boats on "Lake Buccaneer."
The kids designed and built the boats themselves.
They used cardboard, duct tape, paint, and caulk to put together their vessels.
Out of the 10 boats, the "Carnival" ship won.
We'll have more on this story in a future edition of "What's Right With Our Schools."
