The suspect in a Monday night shooting in Bradley county has turned himself in.
The victim is hospitalized is serious condition.

It appears to have started as an argument on Monday night here at 181 Burris lane in northern Bradley county.
Authorities says 48 year old Gilbert Blair and his girlfriend got into a fight.

BOB GAULT, SPOKESMAN, BRADLEY CO. SHERIFF'S DEPT "Person that supposedly did the shooting..from information developed during the investigation ...Is the brother of the victim's girlfriend. He's the one who intervened during an argument between the man and woman...the brother intervened and produced a small caliber weapon and shot the victim in the abdomen."

Bradley county does not have a recent mug shot of 43 year old Jerry M. Kincaid although he was arrested on a misdemeanor 13 years ago. But its enough for officers that he walked into the sheriff's office and surrendered.

BOB GAULT, DCSO "I'm not sure how serious the injuries were...a wound to the lower abdomen and he is still receiving treatment today at Erlanger."

Kincaid will be held on the felony charge without bond pending arraignment Wednesday morning in General Sessions Court.

Bradley county authorities did not have an update on Blair's condition tonight.
But he did suffer at least one serious gunshot wound.
