CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Police Department wants to alert the public regarding an ecstasy warning.

Sunday morning two men appear at the hospital and another was found dead. Investigators believe it all is connected to drugs.

“[They were] suffering from an overdose of an apparent drug that we think it ecstasy,” said The Chattanooga Public Information Officer Tim McFarland.

Investigators aren't sure if the drug is actually ecstasy at this point because of the unusual form the drug was distributed.

“Last night it appeared as a smoky crystal form and people were being told that it was ecstasy,” said McFarland.

Ecstasy usually comes in a pill form and because of that investigators are working to try and figure out exactly what this drug is and who was giving it

This drug could be deadly, and they caution everyone about using it.

Both men who are in the hospital are in stable condition.
