CSLA raises $11,000 at their "Bond-Fire".
The PTA surpassed their goal of $7,000 to buy new technology for the school's classrooms.
This is the second year for the "Bond-Fire" event.
The PTA started the tradition last year to foster more of a community spirit at CSLA.
We caught up with PTA Board member Amy Scott before the "bond-fire" got underway.
She explained, "We literally opened envelopes with $500 in them.  And we opened envelopes with $1.57 in them.  Any every donation meant as much as the last because they were all from our family here and everyone gave as much as they could to support our little school."
The money is going to support interactive technology for 18 of our classrooms that are still not wired for interactive academic instruction.
