No-sexual, or any other label you want to put on yourself, SOMEONE THAT LOVES YOU WILL NOT HURT YOU, PHYSICALLY OR OTHERWISE. I have been a police officer for 6 years and in law enforcement for 10 years, I witnessed domestic abuse everyday at work, unfortunately I was 1200 miles away from my mom and did not see the signs. I actually stopped talking to my mom because I thought she was just an alcoholic. I now know she was drinking to deal with not only the mental abuse, but the physical abuse that was inflicted on her. When we were dressing my mom for her funeral, I could tell all of her fingers had been broken, her nose was broken, and her face was mis-shapened due to broken bones, she had bruises all over her body, her hair was cut off and dyed red, and she was very swollen, I never knew my mom to be over a size 3 and we burried her on a size 10. The woman that was lying on a slab in the funeral home was not the mom I knew. I honestly would not have recognized her of she had approachede me on the street. The Robin Sanders that was my mother was a very beautiful, intelligent, independent woman. I know this has been a rather long rant, all I can ask if for people to not dismiss the signs, if you or someone you know is being abused, or you think they are being abused, please take action. Don't let yourself or your loved one become a statistic. I mean, what would you do if it were your daughter, son, brother, sister, mother, father, uncle, niece, nephew, or best friend? Don't let your loved one become a statistic. He/she doesn't really "love you", you didn't make them do it, their actions are NOT your fault. No matter what they say, it will happen again, someone somewhere does love you and dwill defend you to the death. You are not fat, you are not stupid, you are not ugly. This man, and I use the term VERY loosely, not only murdered mine and my siblings mother, but also murdered a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a grandmother. None of us were aware of the abuse he inflicted on my mom daily. The pictures that have been released look nothing like the mom I knew. I urge/beg/plead with everyone, if you or someone you know is being abused or you think they are being abused, dont ignore it. You could potentially save someone's life if not your own. Don't become a statistic or let a loved one become a stati
