Chattanooga police capture mall stabbing suspect

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee -(WDEF) The man police said stabbed two security officers inside the Hamilton Place Mall is now in custody.

Police arrested Andrew Morgan Hall, 30, for the stabbing of two JC Penny loss prevention officers on Thursday.

His image was captured by security camera's and quickly displayed through local media outlets.

Police say the stabbing occurred when Hall tried to steal merchandise from JC Penny.

Hall now faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault along with theft of property.
