The fast casual restaurant was born in Auburn, Alabama to promote southern chicken salad. Now it is branching out throughout the Southeast.
The first franchise opens in Downtown Chattanooga next January, followed by a Hamilton Place location in the future.
Chicken Salad Chick Announces Plans to Open Location in Chattanooga, TN
Chattanooga, TN (October 9, 2013) -- Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s newest fast-casual restaurant concept, announced today the development of a franchise location in Chattanooga. The new restaurant will be located in the Miller Brothers Building at 629 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
“We are so excited to add this new location to the growing Chicken Salad Chick community throughout the Southeast,” said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. “It has been such a blessing to have franchisees join in sharing the Chicken Salad Chick experience with their own communities.”
Josh Patton, owner of the Chattanooga restaurant, has wanted to open a franchise in Tennessee since his initial exposure to the Chicken Salad Chick concept in 2008. “Stacy quickly got to know me by name after multiple visits per week, and sometimes two visits in one day,” admitted Patton. “I’m ecstatic to bring this to Tennessee. I have friends that constantly ask when I will be open and other friends asking me to bring this to their state.”
