Scout leader Greg Whitlock tells us that his troop were told they couldn't be associated with Oakwood Baptist Church.

The Boy Scouts of America are set to vote on whether homosexuals can be members or not in May and this was an issue for the church he says.

Greg feels people in Georgia are more conservative including those in scouting and he shares their views.

Greg, "Most of us do not agree with having to admit the gays and lesbians."

Greg is unsure of what will happen in May as his scout troop has just began a year long  association with Fellowship Baptist church.

"We will just have to cross that bridge when we get to it".

I say way to go Oakwood Baptist Church. If you don't stand up for your beliefs, who will ? If the homosexuals get in where out...Been in Scouting for years gave our time and money ..And if the Scouting program AIN'T going to keep it like Lord Baden Powell wanted it..Then what's the use.The homosexuals can start their OWN program. Don't go changing a great thing..Keep Scouting as it is...
