Dalton Man Arrested for Setting Fire to His Own House

(WDEF) Officials make an arrest in connection with an arson fire in Whitfield County.
     40-year-old Matthew C. Gibson has been charged with arson in the first degree.
     Officials say on February 16th, Gibson allegedly set fire to his home on Eber Road in Dalton.
     Damage was estimated at more than $130,000.
     Gibson is held in the Whitfield County Jail under a $1,000 bond.
     First-degree arson is a felony with a penalty of one to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $50,000.

They need to look to other places. I've known this man since he was a boy. This is not something he would do in my opinion. Someone else is behind this deal.
