Early Morning Ringgold Fire Claims 2 Lives, a Mother & Son

Georgia's Insurance and Fire Commissioner confirms two deaths in an early morning house fire this morning in Ringgold on Country Haven Road.

31-year old Andrea Claire Coots and her 5-year old son Riley Stone Coots died in the blaze.  Their bodies have been sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.

Glenn Allen, Spokesperson for Georgia Insurance and Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, says the fire is not suspicious, but remains under investigation.  He says the blaze started in the southend of the home, near the garage.
