Etowah Shooting Update

A man involved in a shooting with Etowah police officers has died from his injuries.
David Greenwood was arrested last night after a shootout in Etowah.
City of Etowah Police Department officers were looking for a possible drunk driver in the area of State Highway 30.
Investigators say Mr. Greenwood was stopped after striking a City of Etowah Police Department vehicle.
Officials say the suspect then exchanged gunfire with Etowah Police officers.
TBI Agents say none of the officers involved were injured.
Medics rushed Greenwood to the hospital, where he later died.
Greenwood's girlfriend was found dead inside their burned out home in Robertson County on Sunday morning.
Greenwood was considered a person of interest in that death.
