(WDEF) Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division charged 18-year-old Joshua Allen Lander for the shots fired incident at Hamilton County High School Tuesday.
Landers was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on the charges of Reckless Endangerment and Carrying a Weapon on School Property.
Officials say there may be other charges pending in relation to this incident.
     No one was injured.
But several nearby schools were put on lockdown while the shooter was found and taken into custody.
Principal Gary Kuehn tells News12 a young man fired two shots into air.
We do not know why, but Kuehn says he was the ex-boyfriend of one of his students.
He said, "Another student that was in the office asked if we heard that noise and was that a firearm."
