LaFayette Man is Accused Shooting and Killing Dog

A LaFayette man stands accused of shooting and killing a small dog with his pistol. He told officers the dog was becoming a nuisance. WDEF News 12's Alisha Searl spoke with man, and shares some photographs from the scene, but we want to warn you, some may be disturbing.

Yes, finally a police department that enforces the law! It is a crime to shoot an animal and people should be arrested for it. Yes, he will get out, but at least they did arrest him for shooting this poor animal and this will be on his record. I commend the LaFayette Police Department for doing what was right. A lot of other small town police departments should take a lesson from this. For all you back woods rednecks that think this is okay, it's not - shooting a animal is a crime!
