Inappropriate text messages may be the reason why one Lakeview Middle School employee is out of a job.
WDEF received an anonymous tip alleging an instructor sent messages containing sexual innuendos to his students. Representatives from the Catoosa County Public School System stated that the employee was suspended November 27th. They would not confirm who was involved, but they did say the suspension came from allegations of inappropriately communicating with a student. A release stated, "A hearing was set to determine whether the employee would be terminated. Prior to the hearing, the employee resigned." Theresa Turner, Ringgold resident said, "Well I feel like if he resigned then he's just showing that he is guilty. That's how I feel about it."
Representatives would not comment on who is currently filling the vacant position. They did say that they will post the job opening, and fill the position according to normal procedures.
