Philip Mojonnier is the man behind these red and black guitars.
The young man from Raleigh has made Chattanooga his home and after making guitars for family members as Christmas presents has decided to give it a go as a business.

Even though the guitars' shape is influenced by classical art  he claims he is not an arty guy.

Philip,"You know im not a big art historian type of guy, I dont know a lot about it, so i cant really claim that, but if it has similarities im okay with that".

Helped by his brother-in-law Paul they are hoping to kick start the business in 2013.

Paul says "I think it can work, its just so unique and bold i think it will appeal to the artist and the fans, when they take pictures of it at a show they will be intrigued, i think it can work, we are just going to start slow and build from there".

A local Chattanooga guitarist and friend of Philip and Paul's put the guitar through its paces and it got the thumbs up.
