Some area teens got the chance to show off their art work for a good cause tonight.
It was part of the Palate to Palette youth gallery.
More than 220 works of art from 18 local schools were on display at the Church on Main.  It gave students the opportunity to compete in an actual juried exhibition.
Kelsey McClure from the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences took home the best in show prize for this drawing.
Tennessee Valley Credit Union sponsored the event.
It helps raise money for the Craniofacial Foundation.
"We do it so that the children can understand what it means to be in a real gallery, so we want to give them that experience. If they are accepted, there's acceptance letters that go out, if it's not then there's a letter to thank you for participation, I think that's a real world reality," said Terry Smyth, director of the Craniofacial Foundation.
The Palate to Palette fundraiser continues tomorrow with the Gallery Stroll and Bubbles and Sweets after party.
