President Barack Obama's arrival on Tuesday also has airport officials getting ready.
"We are working very closely with local law enforcement and Presidential detail team to ensure there's a seamless transition on arrival and departure," said Public Relations Official Albert Waterhouse.
The commander in Chief will only be in town for a couple of hours.
He's expected to land, go to Amazon, then fly back out, but people planning on traveling that day aren't taking any chances.
"My initial plans were to fly out of Chattanooga to connect into Atlanta and into Las Vegas," said Johnathan Young."
When Young heard about Air Force One coming in the same day as his flight, he decided to changed his outgoing flight to Atlanta.
"I think giving the fact that the President was coming in even though there wasn't a designated time, it was just going to be easier and safer to take that route through Atlanta."
Airport Public Relations says people still planning on flying in or out of Chattanooga Tuesday shouldn't worry.
"Right now we don't anticipate any kind of major interruptions as far as flying that day." said Waterhouse. "We do encourage people that are flying that day to call the airlines...check in...check the schedule so they know before they get out there that everything's on go."
