CHATTANOOGA, TN, (WDEF)-According to employees they saw the closure coming.
However they thought they would be given more notice.
The call center employed a hundred people for the pay day loan industry.
Now they are out of work, angry and confused.

Tiffany Rankins, Former SupportSeven Employee

"I do feel sorry for people that did not have anything planned in the future, but like I said this happens for the best"

Another employee is angry at the layoffs and wants answers.

"For the government to perpatrate usury and do the same thing because of the student loan crisis, they are charging kids triple interest rates and keeping them in long term debt, the government needs to take a look at their usury"

Employees told us they were informed that new federal laws for loan companies led to the immediate closure after management received a phone call from New York yesterday.
