Three separate shooting and three victims in two hours

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee -(WDEF) Police are investigating three separate shooting that occurred with two hours over the St. Patrick's holiday weekend.

Derick Smith, 21, is fighting for his life tonight after being shot late Saturday night. Police said it happened inside a home on the 5000 block of Old Mission Road. According to investigators, Smith got into a fight before he was shot multiple times.
   
He was taken to the hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.

Around the same time Smith got shot, Charquel Applings, was shot on the 800 block of Roanoke Avenue. Police said Applings was shot while walking down the street. The person who shot him got away in a car. His injures are non-life threatening.

Nearly two hours after Applings and Smith got shot, Taurean Patillo, 20, was shot while sitting inside his car in the parking lot of the Kanku's. Police said Patillo was shot in the upper back and managed to drive himself to the hospital. His injures are non-life threatening.

Police believe all three shooting victims were targeted by they're attackers.
