CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WDEF-TV) - The victim was only 20-years-old and she had two children.
But a violent morning in West Chattanooga resulted in her death.

A couple of years ago, College Hill Courts was plagued by violence and shooting incidents.
Things have been quiet there until the close-knit neighborhood was stunned by the death of a young mother.
It happened about 9:35 when Chattanooga Police received multiple calls of shots fired at 804 W. 14th Street Court.
Police quickly sealed off the area.
OFFICER TIM MCFARLAND, CHATTANOOGA POLICE DEPARTMENT "Officers found a black female suffering from a gunshot wound inside the residence there."
Officers located the victim, Keiara Patton, who just turned 20, and found that she had a gunshot wound to the head.
She was rushed by Hamilton County EMS to a hospital where she later died.
Chattanooga Police have arrested 20-year old Taylor Satterfield, whose being charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault Domestic, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Tampering with evidence.
But investigators still don't know why the young woman died.
She was know by many of her neighbors who are concerned about violence in the courts.
ERLENE STUDEMIRE, NEIGHBOR " I heard it....they were walking around saying that a girl got shot ..I said she wasn't but 19..and it was awful ..awful, 19 never see 20..she's gone to heaven and what are they going to do about her children."
Erlene Studemire says there's cause for others to be concerned.
ERLENE STUDEMIRE, NEIGHBOR "I'm afraid..cause my kids, I've got one in the 10th and got one in college..she don't like to be at home ..and I'm afraid of this."
