Rachel's Recipes
Spritz Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon each vanilla and almond extract
2 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar, beating well. Add egg and flavorings. Mix flour and baking powder and add gradually to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Shape cookies with cookie press on ungreased cookie sheet. Top with colored sugar if desired. Bake in warm 400 degree oven for 7-10 minutes
