Attempted Abduction Suspect in Court

     A Hamilton County judge bounds over charges to a grand jury against the man accused of trying to abduct a 6-year-old girl.
     Jeremy Mizell faces charges of especially aggravated kidnapping, attempted first-degree murder and attempted rape.
     Police say he snatched the girl from the East Brainerd Ace Hardware Parking lot May 11th.
     Kenneth Scroggins testified he caught up with Mizell and rescued his granddaughter.
     He kept Mizell at bay for several minutes... Even chasing and knocking him into a ditch before police arrived.
     The investigator testified Mizell told him he planned to rape and kill the girl.
     Mizell remains in jail without bond.
