Brainerd High Alumni Cookout
More than 500 graduates attended the Brainerd High School Alumni Cookout Saturday from the Class of 1968 to the Class of 2008.
Organizers call it a party with a purpose.
They're calling for alumni to give back and get involved with the students and community.
School Board Member and Brainerd Alumni Jeff Wilson says, "We want to come back, and we want the kids to see that this is a good school to graduate from, and then to connect these young people with that base of alumni."
The Alumni Association gave it's first scholarships to two students this year.
To get involved, contact BHS Alumni Association President Chris Ramsey at cram125@bellsouth.net

Brainerd High Alumni Cookout
It was great to see & fellowship with former classmates, meet the scholarship recipients and give back to the community.
