A shooting at an East Brainerd apartment complex Wednesday night reportedly resulted from a bungled drug deal.
Police responded to the Concord Apartments just after 7:00.
Eric Underwood told officers an unknown man confronted him about money owed for a drug deal.
They got into a fight and then the suspect pulled a gun and shot Underwood in the hand.
Investigators found evidence of drug activity near the scene which linked back to the shooting.
So far no arrests.
